Rotax Max Challenge Round 4

The 4th round of the Malaysian Rotax Max Challenge was held over the weekend at Sepang under changing weather conditions. For the second race meeting in a row the dry tyres didn't get much milage with the track either wet or damp for a lot of the weekened.

Swiss Hutless Asia-Pacific had a successful outing registering a win by Mikko in the Senior category and a 5th and 6th overall (4th and 5th out of Malaysians) in the Juniors by Afiq and Hasif. Ray Kong finished third in the masters category.

The final round of the Rotax Mojo Asia Challenge will be held at the Sepang International Kart Circuit in Malaysia on the 8th and 9th of September. Information about the event for competitors can be found online HERE. In the Senior category Ryan Haryanto merely has to stay out of trouble to secure his championship and likewise in the Juniors Calvin Wong needs a clean weekend to secure a victory. The fight for 2nd place in the Juniors is close with Rio Haryanto, Mohd Hasif, and Bryan Mehta separated by just 11 points.
