Rotax Max Challenge and Asia Max Challenge

The final rounds of the Asia Max Challenge and the Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia were held last weekend at the Sepang Karting Circuit.

Going to represent Malaysia in the Rotax Grand Finals from Swiss Hutless Asia Pacific will be Mohammad Afiq Ikhwan, for being the best Rookie in the Juniors in Asia Max. Other drivers representing Malaysia will be Masedenal Ali, James Lee, John King, Calvin Wong, and Bryan Mehta.

Previous Article Clarification

The P6 cylinder which was mentioned in our earlier article was misleading and we retract fully that statement. In fact the P6 cylinder is a replacement to the old P5 cylinder. However there has been no clinical trials on the cylinder conducted either by Rotax or by any other sources. The so-called power gain was related to us by someone who had used that cylinder and the power gain could be due to many other reasons and not from the change of cylinder.

We at Swiss Hutless Asia-Pacific would like to categorically and unreservely inform and apologise to all concerned if the previous article had somehow mislead anyone on the P6 cylinder. We are sorry for this oversight and wish to reinstate Rotax's policy of non-increase in power on their replacement parts.
